How we measure diversity

We work with measuring four main diversity parameters across organisational levels and geographies:

  • Gender
  • Nationalities
  • Profession
  • Age

We work to ensure diverse organisations and in particular diverse management teams as these are where the decisions to shape Jotun are made. We are working with company policy, training programs, inclusive policies and processes to diversify Jotun within all areas and at all levels.

We also monitor trends for all other diversity parameters and work to make sure there is positive improvement and that all employees feel they have opportunities and are included at Jotun. Visit the Inclusion page to read more about how we measure and work with inclusion.

Our inclusion Index

Acknowledging that inclusion is essential has led us to develop an Inclusion Index where all employees are invited to give anonymous feedback on how inclusive they perceive Jotun to be. The feedback from our employees is analysed and forms the basis of improving inclusion even further for all employees across Jotun. With a high 96% global response rate we are very pleased to see that above 80% of our employees agree that Jotun is indeed a highly inclusive company.

Global Employee Wellbeing Program

Valuing diversity, we work to ensure that all employees are enabled to thrive and develop at Jotun. Happy, healthy employees are at the heart of the company. Therefore, we have established the Penguin CARE program to look after the well-being of all Jotun employees.
