Lamunlamai is an award-winning craft studio based in Thailand. Founded by Bangkok-based artists Nopkamon Akarapongpaisan and Nol Netprom, they are considered to be Asia's rising ceramic design duo, filling homes around the world with their humanistic designs.

Graduates in Industrial Design from the Faculty of Architecture in Bangkok's Chulalongkorn University, they conceived Lamunlamai on the rooftop of Nol's house, creating daily tableware objects, decorative items and installation art pieces in vibrant yet gentle colours.

The word lamunlamai means 'gentle' or 'mellow' in Thai. And rightly so. The duo's beautifully crafted pieces ooze a sense of gentleness and have won them numerous prizes including the 2022 Design Excellence Award, Thailand's most prestigious award given in recognition of outstanding Thai-design products.

Many people recognise Lamunlamai from their works which display a gorgeous variety of colours.

The duo have often expressed that they are interested in the connection objects and colours share. Working with a lot of gradients within a single object, they like playing with the multiple variations a single shade of colour can bring, imbuing a sense of uniqueness.

Colours also allow for curation, the ability to enhance and personalise any home and interior space harmoniously.
